Chylene Burdick - School Director and Owner, has been serving the Darlington area for the past five years. She is excited about her sixth year at Dance Dynamics and the addition of her talented staff members. Chylene Burdick is the co-founder and former artistic director of the national award winning Rising Stars of Sumter for 8 years. She is also in demand across the region as guest choreographer and Master Teacher. She is an award-winning choreographer, dancer, and instructor in dance, gym, and cheerleading with over 20 years teaching experience and she continues to perform. Since 1984, she has trained with instructors from New York to Los Angeles. She has also co-directed the competition teams at Brenda Cranford School of Dance.
She has volunteered to share her love of dance with the Sumter Senior Citizens Olympics, Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club, Chance to Dance – Florence, hearing impaired at Millwood Elementary, TMD students in Sumter and Florence, Alice Drive Baptist Church and other noteworthy organizations. She began the jazz program for the Florence Ballet School with Elsie Jenkins. She was the dance coordinator/instructor for Gifted and Talented dance in School District #17. She has judged numerous competitions and has been a guest instructor with Columbia City Ballet’s Myrtle Beach Dance Experience, as well as, a master tap instructor at Columbia Conservatory. Chylene was captain and choreographer of Winthrop University dance team and a member of Dance Theatre while receiving her education. Her private students have won overall awards, titles and scholarships in competition and pursued their dance careers at Oklahoma City University, Columbia College and Winthrop University on dance scholarships. Her former students perform with Busch Gardens, Fl, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, NC State Dance Team, Clemson Rally Cats, USC dance team, Winthrop dance team and Power Company. She is married to Paul Burdick and they have three children, Olivia , Austin and Bryan. She gives it all to the glory of God.

Miss Ashley Evans - A Columbia native and former member of the Columbia City Jazz Company. She has performed all over the world and won numerous national titles. She is employed by the Florence School District and teaches dance in the Dillon Middle and High Schools. She was a competitive dancer under Dale Lam with the Columbia City Jazz. She has traveled all over the world dancing and brings extensive knowledge to our studio. She recieved her bachelor of science in dance education from Winthop University in May 2007. She is proficient in all styles and has completed studies in training preschoolers on up. She will be an asset to our studio on Tuesdays.
Miss Heather Spurling, will be assisting customers on Tuesdays from 4:30-8:30pm. Please see her for merchandise, tuition payments and any ohter needs.r needs. She will be happy to help you.
